Lifted just above the village rooftops, Residenza Belvedere V is the smaller of the first-floor apartments and one of the most graceful in the building: two bedrooms, a generous private terrace with its own spa bath, and a quality of light that changes hour by hour across the lake and the Grigna mountains beyond.
The Apartment
The interior is open and considered. The Ceppo di Gré kitchen and oak dining setting sit at one end of the living space; a long, low sofa anchors the other, with framed art and softly textured walls completing the composition. Two double bedrooms continue the muted palette of greens, creams, and natural timber, each with bespoke storage and considered lighting. Two resin bathrooms feel like quiet spa rooms in their own right. Outside, the terrace is generous for a two-bedroom apartment — a dining area, a lounge corner, and a freestanding spa bath positioned for the long western light over the lake. A secondary balcony off the bedroom side offers a more intimate vantage on village life below.
The Neighborhood
Civenna sits high above the central branch of Lake Como, a quiet hillside village where mornings begin slowly and afternoons drift into the hills. Bellagio is moments away down the lake road; Menaggio, Varenna, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Ghisallo all sit within easy reach. The lake's most celebrated addresses — Passalacqua, Villa d'Este, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, the Mandarin Oriental, Hotel Belmond, and the Edition — are close enough for an evening reservation, yet feel pleasantly distant from the stillness of the hilltop.
